PRC 2025, Belfast
The annual UK-Ireland Planning Research Conference (PRC) is this year hosted by Ulster at the university’s award-winning Belfast city centre campus. 2025 marks twenty years of Planning education at Ulster, and over four decades of Planning and Property research.
PRC brings together spatial planning scholars and practitioners from across the UK, Ireland and internationally to consider a wide spectrum of key issues relating to the planning of urban and rural areas.
PRC incorporates several strands in addition to the main conference programme: the annual meeting of Planning Schools Forum (PSF); a PhD workshop; and the annual Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) Awards for Research Excellence.
Recent previous hosts include the University of Reading (2024), University of Glasgow (2023), and University of Manchester (2022).
