The organizing committee of the 5th International Fire Safety Symposium (IFireSS 2025) is pleased to invite authors of accepted abstracts to submit their full papers.

Authors can submit their full papers using the official submission link provided below.

Please ensure that your paper adheres to the required format and submission guidelines outlined in the paper template (available below).

The abstracts must be submitted no later than 19th of May 2025 via EasyChair.

Preparing your Papers

  1. Full paper must be prepared using this template and submitted in PDF and DOC (Word) format in high quality print. Please do not insert page numbers and do not secure the PDF file!
  2. Headings and subheadings should follow the format provided.
  3. Title format: 14pt Times New Roman, bold, capital letters; centre adjusted. Please use the style, “Title”. The heading of abstract is written using style, “Main”, as done in this format.
  4. Authors are listed with full names, with affiliation and contacts. This must be done using “Authors” style given in the template.
  5. Please use page size A4. The text should fit exactly into the “type area” and must be justified using “justify”. For A4 size paper the margin settings are “moderate”: Top: 2.54 cm; Bottom: 2.54 cm; Left: 1.91 cm; Right: 1.91 cm. Table 1 summarizes the margins applied.
  6. Please do not insert page numbers.
  7. The paper starts with the ABSTRACT, followed by the consecutively numbered main sections. Include a list of numbered references at the end of the manuscript (use the template format). Acknowledgments are optional.
  8. Preferable paper length is 8-10 pages of size A4, however, the maximum length of 12 pages is allowed.
  9. Language of the paper must be English. Please proofread your paper and refine the content to the best of your capabilities.

While submitting your abstract, please indicate the area that your abstract falls under from the topics listed below.

The quality of the work will be the only acceptance criterion.

Publication

All accepted papers will be published as conference proceedings and extended versions of selected papers will be invited for submission in relevant journals.
