The Centre for Digital Health Technology is an innovation ecosystem which has collaboration at the heart of all it does. We are always interested in discussions regarding potential collaborations with a range of types of organisations who are involved with digital health or similar areas.

We are keen to talk to:

  • Industrial organisations based in the UK or internationally who are working in / interested in working in areas which align to our themes (see here for our key themes).
  • Entrepreneurs who are developing digital health products services.
  • Healthcare Professionals who are engaged in / wish to engage in research and development activates.
  • Academic collaborators who wish to develop joint R&D projects with the centre.
  • Those with specialist knowledge which could add value to the cluster and help us deliver our mission e.g. those with specialist regulatory expertise.
  • Representatives of relevant cluster organisations who wish to collaborate with our ecosystem.
  • Those who wish to fund R&D or invest in companies in the digital health sector.

CDHT is a world leading R&D hub where industry can develop digital health products and services more efficiently with a higher degree of success. The CDHT project is a source of relevant expertise, state of the art facilities, business intelligence, provides access to clinicians and research funding.

CDHT has currently over 50 companies associated with its activates and we are keen to develop links with organisations from within the sector. The centre has many collaboration models including carrying out collaborative R&D, co-location of staff, accessing facilities / expertise, sharing business intelligence and engaging in skills development.

CHDT provides an opportunity to collaborate with a world class research and innovation ecosystem to develop healthcare products and improve the patient care pathways offered to patents improving both outcomes and efficiency.

CDHT has access to all the key organisations, infrastructure, experience and knowledge of the funding landscape to make your idea happen in an efficient way. Whether you are an experienced researcher or wishing to see how you can carry out R&D activates for the first time we would be keen to discuss your project whether you have a developed idea or not.

CDHT is keen to discuss opportunities for collaboration with partners based outside the UK to strengthen the innovation capacity of the innovation ecosystem and increase the diversity of the industry base.

The centre provides a soft landing for FDI companies wishing to set up in a developing world class digital health focussed innovation ecosystem building on its long-standing expertise and looking to the future with ambition. Companies can benefit from access to space within the CDHT hub, access to skills graduates / world class expertise and introductions to the key support mechanisms within the region.

The CDHT project demonstrates investment in the area by government and this demonstrates the strength of the sector within the region. The skills / infrastructure which can be accessed in the region combined with the unique regulatory position and the connected innovation ecosystem make NI the ideal site for an FDI investment.
