The Library offers 24-hour spaces to students & staff. 24-hour access includes study spaces and access to computing, printing, scanning & photocopying facilities. Staffed opening hours include enquiry services, borrowing and bookstock access. Check the opening hours page for more detail.
Self-service laptop lending is available 24 hours a day at Belfast and Coleraine campus libraries. Laptops are available for 4hr loan periods to use anywhere on campus. Belfast library also offers a UV-C unit to sanitise laptops. Derry ~ Londonderry campus library continues to offer ‘over the counter’ laptop lending during opening hours.

All libraries will close at 8pm on Friday 18th April 2025 and will reopen on Monday 28th April 2025 (normal staffed opening times).
24-hour spaces will be available on the following days only: Saturday 19th April, Tuesday 22nd April, Wednesday 23rd April, Saturday 26th April and Sunday 27th April 2025. There may be disruption to some services on Saturday 26th April & Sunday 27th April.
Students & staff must have their card with them to gain access and we ask that users report to campus security desks before entering libraries.
