Celebrating the Past - Exploring Distinction through Time on 20th Nov 2024.
A series of talks exploring the historical role and special contribution of the Belfast School of Art both nationally and internationally.
Mike Catto, renowned Belfast School of Art historian, will examine the long-term historical trajectory of the institution from its opening in 1849 through to the present.
Detailed histories of the legacy of textiles and painting will also be explored by esteemed BSoA lecturers Dr Catherine O’Hara and Dr Louise Wallace.
