Belfast Sports Centre Free Day Pass Terms and Conditions

These Terms govern the use of your free day pass (“Free Day Pass”) pursuant to the Belfast Sports Centre Free Day Pass Promotion (the “Promotion”).

Please read these Terms carefully. By validating your Free Day Pass and using the Belfast Sports Centre (the “Sports Centre”) you agree to comply with these Terms as well as the general terms and conditions of Sports Centre memberships applicable to all users of the Sports Centre.

Eligibility

The promotion is valid for first-time users of Sports Centre above 12 years (with parental consent required for those below 18 years).

Validity

1. The Free Day Pass is valid for one use only and must be redeemed within the validity period as stated on your Free Day Pass.
2. These Terms do not constitute a free pass itself and cannot be used to claim a Free Day Pass.
3. Ulster University reserves the right to withdraw or vary the Promotion at any time.

Access

1. To validate your Free Day Pass please present it at the Sports Centre reception either as a physical leaflet or displayed on your phone to gain access to a free gym induction and free session.
2. You will be required to sign a health declaration before undertaking any activity.
3. You cannot redeem your Free Day Pass for a cash alternative.

Location

The Free Day Pass for this campaign is valid only at Ulster University's Belfast Sports Centre during the promotional period of 2 September 2024 to 30 June 2025.

Health and Safety

1. All activities and use of all Sports Centre facilities are undertaken by you at your sole risk. We recommend obtaining medical advice before doing any physical activity.
2. You must adhere to all health and safety guidelines as instructed by the Sports Centre staff.
3. Ulster University reserves the right to refuse access to the Sports Centre to any individual who fails to comply with these requirements.

Limitation of Liability

In the absence of any negligence or other breach of duty by us, Ulster University shall not be liable for any injury, loss, or damage suffered by individuals using the Sports Centre facilities under this promotion except where such liability cannot be excluded by law.

Data Protection

1. Throughout the course of the daily operations of the Sports Centre, photos and/or video footage may be taken. This footage could be used by the University for marketing and publicity, including but not limited to publications, campaigns, social media, and on our website. Please contact us at sport@ulster.ac.uk if you have any concerns or if you wish to be exempted.
2. Anyone wishing to take photographs or record images on Sports Centre premises must seek permission in advance from the Sports Services Operations Manager.
3. All information provided will be added to the databases maintained by Ulster University and Ulster University Students’ Union. Data is not divulged to third parties. Under the Data Protection Act 1998, we are unable to use the information you have supplied unless you give your consent.
4. Any personal data collected during this promotion will be processed in accordance with Ulster University’s privacy policy (Opens in new window)
