Things to consider this month.
- Ulster University Accommodation is open for application. Now is the time to research options and apply. Applicants who have made Ulster their first choice are eligible to apply for a guaranteed place, if they apply prior to 7 July 2025. £100 refundable booking fee required.
- Time to research what financial funding options are available. Make sure you check out the relevant funding authorities to understand their process and key dates. There can be a lot of paperwork which requires evidence of income, so it is best to start as soon as possible.
- Did you receive help or extra time in school or college? Support is available from our Student Wellbeing team. If you have not already notified us about any additional study needs do so now. This is to ensure we have everything you need in place at the start of term.
- Ready to accept your offer? If you are ready to make Ulster your Firm or Insurance choice, visit the UCAS Hub. If you need more information to make your decision do not hesitate to contact us.

April
Things to consider this month.
Worked out your monthly budget? You will need to know:
- What financial sources are available to you
- Whether you are going to commute or live near the university
- Check out what student bank accounts are available to you
- Check your course page online to see if there are any additional costs you need to cover
Documentation Check. Some applicants need to supply further information to Admissions prior to Results Day. Take a quick look at your offer email and check if you need to send anything to admissions.

Things to consider this month.
- Need help deciding? For those who have received all their decisions by 14 May, the UCAS deadline is June 5. If you do not make your Firm or Insurance choice by that deadline, these choices will be automatically withdrawn by UCAS. This means you will need to apply again through Clearing which opens on 5 July. If you have any questions or require additional support do not hesitate to contact us. You can confirm your choices via your UCAS Hub.
- Health Sciences Applicant Day – Saturday 24 May 2025. If you have received an invite for our May Applicant event, make sure to register.

Things to consider this month.
- August is Results Month! 🎉 We receive most results directly from the exam bodies. On Results Day we will directly communicate with you via email the status of the application. Our hope is that we can provide an immediate decision. However, there are some circumstances where we are not able to make a decision on your application immediately, we will send you an email and confirm that we are still considering your application.
