The Ulster University Belfast School of Art’s Annual Degree Show, supported by Carson McDowell solicitors, is now open to the public until Saturday 17th June at 4pm, displaying the enormous talent of School of Art’s graduating students.

This annual event always draws a large public audience who can view and purchase original artwork created by final year and masters level students across the Belfast School of Art, where visitors experience illustration, graphic design, fine art, photography and video, product design, silversmithing, ceramics, textiles and fashion exhibits, alongside more contemporary forms such as animation, games design, user experience and service design.

We are delighted that Carson McDowell, Northern Ireland’s largest independent law firm is supporting the Annual Degree Shows with a two-year partnership. Over one hundred guests attended an evening reception on the Belfast campus, followed by a preview of the exhibition.

Neasa Quigley, Senior Partner, Carson McDowell commented:

"Carson McDowell is delighted to be reigniting a partnership that began in 2012 and to continue to showcase the world-class talent and skill of our creative students. The Arts and Creative Industries is a hugely important growth sector in Northern Ireland that is already recognised on the global stage. By supporting the Ulster University Belfast School of Art Annual Degree Shows we believe we are investing in our shared future, as the successful career development of these individual artists and creatives will generate additional social and economic benefits for the region through the development of innovative concepts, ideas, knowledge and networks."

Cathy Gormley-Heenan, University Provost at Ulster University added:

"The value of our partnership with Carson McDowell goes far beyond the much-appreciated financial support that contributes to the exhibition itself. Our partnership also benefits our students, the Belfast School of Art, and the whole university by virtue of a proud and public association with Northern Ireland’s largest independent legal firm who are known for their commitment to creativity and innovation, to excellence, and to sustainability. We have a shared purpose to strive to bring success and growth to Northern Ireland and we thank Carson McDowell for their support."
