Ulster University Alumni Engagement team, in partnership with Ulster University Business School and the Governance Institute, are delighted to invite you to KPMG's Platform X for this special UU Connects event.

AI - Friend or Foe?

We are delighted to welcome an excellent panel line up to lead this discussion:

UU School of Computing, Dr Sam Moore - specialising in Artificial Intelligence, ethics and explainability of AI, and reliability of AI, the Internet of Things, Cybersecurity and Pervasive Computing. Sam is currently co-investigator with the Advanced Research and Engineering Centre.

Alumnus Jason McDermott - has been a leader at Google for almost 13 years and is currently shaping new Google Cloud product offers for launch in 2024 having returned to Dublin in 2021. Previously, Jason led Google Cloud Professional Services in Asia and was based in Singapore for 11 years.

Alumnus Paul Browne - a product and program manager currently working for Europe’s largest VC by deal flow. Paul is the author of AI and Business Rule Engines for Excel Power Users and JBoss Business Rules, both by Packt Publishing.
